Poem 10
Reflecting and it is
what the mind hears
the energy and then
it slows its breath
and what now
there you are
feeling like a fool
So what you going to do
you are no quitter
there is too much drive
and who says anyone
really knows what is there
and we are often alone
And it tells us there
is more staring back
it wants to take us
and comfort us if
we really need it
no weakness ever
that doesn’t stand
Bring it back
and let it be anything
you need no one
said it couldn’t be
everyone shuffling around
nothing can bring you down
and yes you are strong
the chin is up and
